Industrial Coatings
- Industrial Coatings are specially formulated paints and surface finishes designed to protect and enhance various materials — primarily metals, concrete, and plastics — used in industrial environments.
- We provide corrosion resistance, chemical protection, abrasion resistance, and aesthetic finish that extends the life of equipment and structures.
- Corrosion Protection: Prevents rust and degradation caused by moisture, chemicals, salt.
- Chemical Resistance: Withstands exposure to acids, solvents, and other harsh chemicals.
- Durability: Increases surface strength against wear and abrasion.
- Heat Resistance: Suitable for high-temperature industrial applications.
- Aesthetic Appeal: Offers smooth finish and color stability.
- Environmental Protection: Many modern coatings are low-VOC and eco-friendly.
Types of Industrial Coatings
1.Epoxy Coatings:
- Excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and hardness.
- Ideal for Heavy machinery, structures, and automotive parts floors, tanks, and pipelines.
- MIO Primer is a high-performance anti-corrosive primer formulated with micaceous iron oxide pigments that create a strong barrier
- It was against moisture, chemicals, and UV radiation.etc…….,
- Zinc-Rich Primer Provides catholic protection to steel surfaces.
- It was Common in bridges, ships, and heavy equipment.
- Epoxy zinc phosphate primer is a two-component protective
- coating system based on epoxy resin that is pigmented with zinc phosphate, used primarily as a primer for steel and metal substrates in demanding environments.
- It provides anti-corrosive protection, excellent adhesion, and a stable base for subsequent paint systems.
- A High Build Epoxy Coating is a two-component (2K) epoxy system formulated with high solids content to achieve thick dry film thickness (DFT) in fewer coats. It provides excellent corrosion protection, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance, making it suitable for heavy-duty industrial environments.
- It is commonly used as:
- A protective intermediate or finish coat
- Sometimes as a primer-cum-build coat
2.Acrylic Coatings:
- Fast drying, good color retention, and economical.
- Used in general industrial and decorative applications.
3.Polyurethane Coatings:
- UV and weather resistant, flexible finish.
- Commonly used on machinery, structures, and automotive parts.
- A PU Zinc Phosphate Primer is a two-component polyurethane primer designed for metal substrates, especially steel, where enhanced corrosion protection and strong adhesion are required.
- Polyurethane Resin Base — for toughness, flexibility, and weather resistance
- Zinc Phosphate Pigment — corrosion-inhibitive pigment providing rust protection
4.Enamel Paint:
- Industrial Enamel Paint is a solvent-based protective and decorative coating that dries to form a hard, smooth, and glossy or semi-gloss film.
- It is primarily used as a topcoat over suitable primers for metal structures, machinery, equipment, and fabricated components in light-to-medium industrial environments.
5.QD(Quick Drying):
- QD Paints are fast-drying, solvent-based industrial coatings designed to dry and harden quickly after application, allowing rapid handling, stacking, or recoating. They are widely used in fabrication shops, maintenance painting, and production lines where time and productivity are critical.
- QD paints provide good appearance and moderate protection with very short drying times.
6.HR Paints(Black & Aluminium):
- Heat resistance depends on the type and formulation:
- HR 250°C — suitable for moderate heat applications.
- HR 400°C — for industrial exhausts, ovens, piping near heat sources.
- HR 600°C (and higher) — heavy-duty coatings for furnaces, chimneys, high-temperature machinery
7.Heat-Resistant (HR) muffler paint:
- This is a special coating designed to withstand elevated temperatures typically experienced by automotive exhaust components such as mufflers, silencers, exhaust manifolds and pipes. These paints are engineered to maintain adhesion, appearance, and protective function when exposed to dry heat up to specified temperature ranges (commonly 250°C to 600°C or higher)
